Company Investment

WRAP can invest up to €200,000 to companies working in Film, TV, Games, and Animation which are based in the WRAP Region.*

This investment is intended to scale and grow the business through the development of its own IP, servicer/work-for-hire style offerings, or both. This funding is provided as a repayable loan on a monthly amortised basis or on a bullet repayment basis with monthly interest. There may be scope for equity investment or a convertible loan note if the company has 50% private investment. Funding will be provided on a repayable loan basis in line with Euribor interest rates.**

Application Process

Who can apply for WRAP Company Investment?

Film, TV, Games, or Animation Companies (facilities, studios) based in the Region can apply for up to €200,000 in strategic funding/ investment for their Company.

How do I apply for WRAP Company Investment?

If you are interested in applying for WRAP Company Investment, you must make an initial enquiry by email to the WRAP Executive at wrap@ardan.ie who will advise further on eligibility and the process. Prior to application submission, it is essential that you consult the WRAP Company Investment Guidelines downloadable PDF link here to ensure your production meets the criteria. Eligible applications are generally accepted on a rolling basis.

Assessment Criteria

The Key criterion for assessing whether a company will be eligible for this funding is the track record and relevant skills of the team, the Market for the service/output of the company (competitive advantages and growth potential), and, most importantly, the capacity to repay investment.

The key eligibility criteria include:

repayment capacity,
proven track record and skills of team ,
a clear long-term vision expressed in a comprehensive business plan.
